At Mountain and Glen we offer you a range of carefully created adventures, combined with our wealth of experience, at a reasonable price. We believe that everyone should be able to experience the outdoors in a safe but challenging environment and will go out of our way to ensure that you have the experience of a lifetime.

What makes us different?
For one we pay top dollar for our instructors! Unlike some outdoor companies who rely on "volunteers" to staff their 3 peaks events we believe that a fair day's pay for a fair day's work ensures that we have the best staff in the business.
All of our leaders are chosen for their experience, knowledge and professionalism and we make good use of our contacts with both the military and Mountain Rescue Organisations, in the belief that these leaders have honed their skills in some of the most testing circumstances in the world.
We pride ourselves on the safety of our operations and again, unlike many companies, our instructor to client ratios are fluid depending on group levels of experience, prevailing weather conditions and terrain. This means that everyone who experiences our adventures does so safe in the knowledge that they are in extremely good hands!

The view from the top
When I formed the company, I wanted to create a unique mountain sports company, able to offer a personalised, flexible, professional service to all sorts of people; from those who might want to experience Britain's breathtaking mountains for the first time to those who have done it a hundred times.
To achieve this I wanted to use professional, highly experienced leaders with a relaxed style. I feel that this aim has been achieved in Mountain and Glen and I'm immensely proud of the service we offer. We take your safety extremely seriously and we have an excellent track record of safe, successful ascents.
